Can You Fish Freshwater Without a License?

DFW Lake Habit
Lewisville, Grapevine, Ray Roberts, Lavon, Benbrook and Joe Pool usually need freshwater coverage. Lake Texoma is the special exception if it is the only destination.
Austin / Hill Country
Lake Travis, Lake Austin, Lady Bird Lake, Canyon Lake and the Guadalupe River are freshwater trips. For Guadalupe trout, always check the exact river section.
Houston Confusion
