• Try wind-blown flats, channel edges, points and deeper water near bait.

Largemouth Bass

• Start in the lower third because TPWD says water is clearer there.
• Look for weedy backs of coves, docks, bulkheads and cleaner-water edges.
• Use shade, wind, bait and depth changes instead of random casting.
• Expect pressure; TPWD survey says largemouth bass dominated directed angler effort.
• Low water can pull fish off shallow cover toward edges and docks.

Crappie

• Use docks, brush, bridge areas, creek-channel edges and cove transitions.
